Get with the times - 2015 style trends.
Lauren Larsen
With AW 2015 fashion shows wrapped up in in London, Milan and Paris, and about to start in NYC, we are beginning to get a taste of what is in store for 2015 fashion... and let me tell you, this year is going to be uh-maze-ing.
Here are a few of the top style trends of 2015.
Grey on grey on grey.
Although grey is almost always incorporated into a designer's collection, this year it is about how you wear the grey, particularly how you match the grey with other shades of grey. Grey trousers and sportcoat paired with a different shade of grey tie and a crispy white Eton shirt... yup!
Graphics & prints.
Not your little brother's graphic tee, fashion houses are sending their version of cartoon-esque prints down the runway and although some are maybe a bit to obnoxious for my taste, there are subtle ways to incorporate this look into your ensemble - this Paul Smith shirt is a great option. I also really like the black and white look, and this trend is conducive to both (bonus!).
Green & blue
Green and blue are two colours I wouldn't normally pair together, until now of course. Pair a blue shirt with a green jacket, or a green shirt with a blue jacket & blue denim and you'll be pulling this trend off effortlessly.
Camel jackets
An alternative to black or grey, camel is great to mix up your outerwear. Layer a jacket over your blue or grey suit to add some contrast and add additional style points.
Are there trends you'd like to try this year? Would you wear the above? I'd love to hear from you!
